Static Trapeze 2/3

We will work on improving strength, balance, and refining beginner tricks. These foundations will be combined with intermediate skills to create polished sequences unique to the class. We will focus on cleaning up tricks for economy of movement and strong, fluid transitions.

Prerequisites: clean inversion from the ground on any apparatus. No exceptions.

Slings 2

Continue developing your relationship with the sling, exploring wrap theories, and building strength and endurance. Focus will include body awareness and general control of movement on the apparatus, mobility work, supported and aerial inversions, climbs, and single drops.

Prerequisites: pullover into hip hang; hip hang roll up to front balance; marionette, any entrance; manta ray sequence; 360 drop

Hoop 2

Prerequisites: Double knee hang, consistently able to mount the hoop at medium height, front facing Amazon, working on no handed back balance.

Silks 2

Expanding on silks and rope skills from level 1 to invert at higher heights and build endurance. Prepare to be challenged and to stay on the apparatus for longer.

Prerequisites: Clean invert from ground in straddle and tuck w control, leg lock sequence both sides, 3 different climbs to the ceiling, familiar w crochet climb, 10 sec bent arm hang left, right, center
