Silks 3

Expanding on silks and rope skills from previous levels to invert at higher heights and build endurance. Prepare to be challenged and to stay on the apparatus for longer.

Prerequisites:

  • Clean invert from ground in straddle and tuck w control
  • Thigh hitch (leg lock) sequence both sides
  • 3 different climbs to the ceiling
  • Familiar w crochet climb
  • 10 sec bent arm hang left, right, center

Hoop 3

This class is for the intermediate+ student. Come prepared to work on beats, rolls, spanset work, more intricate transitions, & longer sequences.

Prerequisites: Comfortable in pullover mounts, straddles, single knee hang, & working on the top bar. Good body awareness in the air.

Rope 3

In this class we will continue our journey in discovering new pathways and transitions into and out of locks. We will continue to build strength, awareness and finesse with our beats and strength based progressions. Let’s go rope!!

Prerequisites: 3 inversions (any variation or combination is fine), basic beats, same side and opposite side wrap, and hip keys.

Straps Fundamentals

In this class, intermediate and advanced students can begin to build strength and stability on straps. Straps fundamentals will be introduced, as well as advanced conditioning skills that can be used for specific straps skills, and/or translated to other apparatus to unlock your advanced aerial potential. Class size is limited to ensure personal attention.

Prerequisites: Inversion from the ground with good form. Level 3+ on any apparatus.

Static Trapeze 2/3

We will work on improving strength, balance, and refining beginner tricks. These foundations will be combined with intermediate skills to create polished sequences unique to the class. We will focus on cleaning up tricks for economy of movement and strong, fluid transitions.

Prerequisites: clean inversion from the ground on any apparatus. No exceptions.

Slings 3/4

Expand your knowledge of wrap theories, explore dynamic transitions, experiment with tempo and creative expression. Strengthen inverts & endurance in the air. We’ll work on c-shaping, flares, beat sequences, stacked drops, elbow circles, and more.

Prerequisites: crossback straddle, familiar with beats (front/back, bell, scissor); able to invert from stand & a climb, strong body awareness in the air.

Silks 4

In this class we will build our strength with fun conditioning drills both on and off the apparatus. We will learn some new wraps and continue to drill old ones.

Prerequisites:

  • 2 climbs to the top of the silks
  • Straddle and side straddle mounts
  • Thigh hitch (leg lock) sequence
  • Bat

All skills should be able to be performed on both sides.
